This will be a talk on how and why I became a writer, and I'll tell you the best thing that ever happened to me as a writer, maybe as a person, in fact. I'll also talk about NIGHT OF MIRACLES. I might give a sneak peek of THE CONFESSION CLUB, which is my new novel coming out November 19. (It's the third in the Mason series, following THE STORY OF ARTHUR TRULUV and NIGHT OF MIRACLES.)After that, we'll have a Q&A and a book signing.

This festival will offer a variety of activities for all ages,including the "Liars Bench Game," a book mark contest, "Chalk the Block," drawing book covers on the sidewalk, and my favorite, children reading from the stories they wrote. Authors who write books for preschoolers through adults will be there.
My keynote will be a talk about my life and work, followed by a Q&A. Book sales and signing will follow.
Other authors will include John David Anderson, Mark Langley, Lori Rader-Day, and Tim Crumrin.
