ELIZABETH BERG WRITING WORKSHOP FOR WOMEN-BOSTON, MA

This is a small group of 8 at who will receive plenty of individualized attention. Come and stay at a lovely hotel and give yourself time and space for contemplation and creation. Enjoy a welcome dinner the first night and meet Elizabeth and your fellow participants. Attend brief morning meetings where you will be given specific assignments for the day, and three-hour afternoon workshops where you will share your work and be given honest but kind and supportive critiquing. This workshop will focus on character, place, and dialogue, all essential elements in good writing. The last day of our workshop, participants will present pieces using all that they've learned in the workshop. These may be finished pieces of non-fiction, fiction, or the start of your novel. The purpose of this workshop is for you to learn about yourself as a writer, including the value of taking a risk! Cost is $2,295, which includes the hotel, the welcome dinner and a welcome bag.
